A Look Inside ISC’s Wholesale Division

Wholesale Access - Hero Image

ISC provides agents with several exclusive programs that distinguish us in the market. We also have a Wholesale Division primarily focusing on providing a broader product base outside our program business offerings. “Through our Wholesale Division, agents have access to valuable markets from our various partners,” says Dan Matteoni, ISC Vice President, Production. This includes Professional Liability, General Liability, Business Owners Policy, and Cyber insurance through a partner portal via Hiscox.

In addition, ISC has binding authority with the AU Gold program, enabling agents to quote and bind coverage online for various products, including Builder’s Risk, Lessor’s Risk/Retail/Office, Vacant Property and Special Event insurance.

A competitive Pollution Liability product is available through ISC’s partnership with Westchester.

The goal is to make the wholesale process as seamless and effortless as the ISC programs available on our online platform. “We focus on working with carriers that have some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry along with online rating capabilities that will flow seamlessly with our portal,” explains Dan.

On the Horizon

Workers’ Compensation represents a significant portion of ISC’s Wholesale Division. “We have appointments with various strong markets,” explains Dan, “and can insure everything from construction risks to Main Street businesses.

“We are currently working on folding our Workers’ Comp product into our new ISCX platform, which will be released in the coming months. “We’ve already done much of the legwork and are looking forward to providing agents with a modern and enhanced online quoting experience via ISCX, moving away from traditional paper submissions.”

The ISC Wholesale Division is also working on releasing a Commercial Auto policy with an “A” rated carrier. “The focus of the product is aligned with our Construction GL book of business,” says Dan, “with an emphasis on the small to medium-sized contractor. We will launch in the second quarter in 9 states, including California, Texas, and Florida, where ISC has a large footprint.”
