Another Great WSIA Marketplace Event for ISC and Industry Colleagues

We just got back from attending and participating in the annual WSIA Marketplace, the premier wholesale, specialty, and surplus lines industry event. This year, the event took place from September 22 to 25 in beautiful San Diego, California. More than 8,200 insurance industry execs attended the WSIA Marketplace. Our staff met and networked with many of our wholesale partners, carriers, and reinsurers.

We also hosted our fourth annual celebratory cocktail party at the Lumi Rooftop in the Gaslamp District on Tuesday, September 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., an event our staff and guests look forward to every year. At the Lumi cocktail party, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and small bites handcrafted from world renowned celebrity and Michelin-star chef Akira Back. There was scrumptious sushi, specialty cocktails, and a photobooth. ISC also supported the Lucky Duck Foundation.

The Gaslamp District is known as the go-to place in San Diego for dining and entertainment. It’s packed with restaurants, bars, and clubs. Just as an aside, the area got its name because of its Victorian feel and the design of its signature Gas Lamp Street Lights.

The WSIA (Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association) is a member service organization that represents the entire wholesale, specialty, and surplus lines industry.
