Email signatures aren’t just a throwaway line of text at the end of your daily correspondences, they’re an entirely separate marketing tool that requires a bit of strategy and investment (and don’t worry, you don’t need to be a genius at HTML to make yours stand out!). Here are some key tips to know when deciding how to format your professional email signature.

Strategy Is the Key to Simplicity

Most modern email programs will allow you to add numerous signature options, and you can pick which one to insert depending on who you’re emailing.

This way, you can focus on a different objective depending on whether you’re reaching out to new clients, for example, or returning clients. Plus, changing up your signature over time will catch the recipient’s attention and make them more likely to engage.
