ISC Broker Conference
ISC held its first Broker Conference on the West Coast on February 22 and 23, where 24 of our top-producing brokers west of the Mississippi were invited to meet with our marketing and technology staff. The Broker Conference was an opportunity for brokers to get a first look at our new ISCX platform and share ideas and feedback with us so that we can continue to provide them with customer excellence. The two-day conference took place at the Andaz Hotel on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California.
Attending the conference from ISC were Mitch Jawitz, EVP/Head of Sales; Hadar Raz, Chief Marketing Officer; Scott Carter, Chief Digital & Technical Officer, who is spearheading the development of ISCX; and Arman Nadjafi, Vice President, Product Design & Delivery, who showcased ISCX.
Conference Kicks Off with an Evening at Magic Castle
Our brokers enjoyed a jaunt to Magic Castle for a private dining experience and magic show.
The following day, Mitch gave our guests an overview of ISC and our product offerings. Many producers focus on GL Construction, so this was an opportunity to let them know of the breadth of our programs and coverages beyond their principal focus.
Arman demonstrated ISCX to a great reception, with the brokers wanting to know when they could start using the platform.
Following the ISCX presentation, there were breakout sessions where each ISC representative met with five brokers to get general feedback about ISC and the MGA market. They provided insightful and valuable information to help us continue addressing their needs.
Keynote Speaker, Former Football Player Vince Papale
Vince Papale, a former football wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles and the inspiration behind the 2006 film Invincible, was our keynote speaker. He enthralled the audience with his story of how, without having played a down in college football, he got the last roster spot on the struggling team. He played for the Eagles for three seasons. Papale was a great speaker and gracious in signing a couple of dozen autographs.
We plan on holding conferences biannually on the West and East Coasts. It’s a great way to open our line of communication with the brokers to hear from their perspective what we do well and what we can do better and, ultimately, to create better relationships with them. We’re planning our next conference for the fall.
