ISC’s Wholesale Division Is Expanding

ISC continues to expand its Wholesale Division to provide our agents with options in addition to our exclusive programs. “We want to be a one-stop shop for our agents,” explained Brad Nebel, ISC Chief of Staff, “providing products that are complementary to our existing programs as well solutions for a broad range of risks.”

Here is a quick rundown of the products we currently offer through our Wholesale Division:

Business Owners Policy

Our BOP, which bundles General Liability and Property insurance, is written with “A” rated Hiscox and provides coverage for more than 380 classes of business. You can get quotes and bind coverage online.

Cyber Liability

We offer Cyber insurance through HiscoxNOW, with policy limits of up to $1 million for a wide range of businesses. You can get quotes and bind coverage directly online with HiscoxNOW. We also offer brokerage Cyber solutions with limits of up to $5 million for risks that fall outside of HiscoxNOW’s appetite.

E&O Professional Liability

E&O Professional Liability is available for more than 4,000 classes through Hiscox and AUGold. With ISC, you also have hard-to-place options through Lloyd’s, Arch, HiscoxPRO, Kinsale, and Palms.

Pollution Liability

We offer a Pollution Liability solution from an “A” rated carrier on an occurrence or claims-made basis. You can provide practice- or project-specific policies. First- and third-party Transportation coverage, Non-owned Disposal Sites, and Sudden Accidental Pollution coverages are available in addition to separate Defense coverage. Limits are up to $25 million, with a $1,500 minimum premium.

Vacant Property

“A” rated Vacant Property General Liability and Property coverage through AUGold is available, including for hard-to-place properties. Obtain online quotes here.

Workers’ Compensation

Round out accounts with access to the best Workers’ Comp markets available. We have a broad appetite, which includes contractor classes, new ventures, and accounts with lapsed coverage. Accounts with high ex-mods are also considered. Submit and bind coverage on the ISCx platform.

In addition, we have an exclusive program with Pie Insurance for Ghost policies and General Contractors Workers’ Compensation.

Cannabis

General Liability, Products Liability, Property, and Lessor’s Risk Only insurance for dispensaries, cultivators, distributors, manufacturers, and tobacco and smoke shops are available through tech-driven insurer Blitz. Coverage is available in 42 states, and you can quote and bind coverage online with Blitz.

Specialty Casualty

We have solutions for special events, entertainment, hospitality, products liability, security services, and bespoke coverage needs for small and large contractors.

More Products to Come

We’re working on adding more markets and products to our Wholesale Division, including Commercial package policies for LRO, Habitational, and Tenant-Occupied Properties; Commercial Property insurance for small and large accounts; Commercial Auto insurance for service vehicles, contractors, garbage/dump trucks, and trucking; high-value Homeowners insurance for cat and non-cat risks; broadened Environmental Liability capabilities; and Miscellaneous Property Liability coverage.

If an account falls outside our underwriting guidelines in one of our exclusive programs, ISC will provide its partners with solutions in the wholesale market. “Just because an account was declined in our program doesn’t mean we can’t find a home for it on our wholesale side,” said Brad. “We have markets ready to write difficult and hard-to-place accounts.”

“For example, with the high-value Homeowners market we are adding, we can place accounts that exceed the limits in our program,” said Brad. “We are also adding an Excess Liability wholesale solution for contractors that don’t fit into our Excess for Everything program.”

“In addition to including online access to existing products through our partnerships with Hiscox and AUGold, we are also adding general binding with in-house authority on small transactional commercial business and a brokerage capability for more complex and/or larger risks that fall outside our authority.”

“As we expand our Wholesale Division, we will bring in more talent to deliver expeditious service and turnaround to our agency partners.”

About Brad Nebel

Brad is spearheading the expansion of our Wholesale Division. He joined ISC after working on the reinsurance side of the business, specializing in E&S and MGA program business as a treaty broker. He grew up in insurance, working 12 years at the MGA and wholesale business his dad founded. After eight years of reinsurance broking, Brad returned to his MGA/wholesale roots with ISC.
