Eric has brought his innovative spirit and extensive technology experience to the Insurance industry and to ISC. His team is responsible for delivering the software at the heart of the SIS’s innovative cloud-based insurance platform. Prior to joining SIS in 2013, Eric spent 16 years with Sony where he was a principal engineer tasked with the design and build-out of Sony’s first global content streaming and device management platform. After the successful launch of the platform and initial streaming device BIVL (Bravia Internet Video Link) in 2007, Sony consolidated the Internet Entertainment teams under the PlayStation family. In 2010, Eric was promoted to Engineering Manager, and lead diverse engineering teams encompassing infrastructure, software, and quality assurance for Sony Network Entertainment (PSN). At the time of his departure in 2013, the platform supported over 70 million devices globally and 650 million transactions per day. In addition to his engineering contributions to Sony’s transition to network-based entertainment and cloud platforms, he also made significant contributions to Sony’s Intellectual property, as he was awarded numerous patents during his time with Sony. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Fresno.
